My name is Melissa. I am a christian, a wife to a great guy, a mom to a precious boy, and a self taught artist. I love to write, research, and my passion is art.  I am currently building a website and hope soon it will be complete.   I have been painting since I was 17 and find it the most wonderful way to express oneself. 

I have a Bachelors in Legal Studies and tons of student loans to go with it!  That is how I found hubpages.  I was looking for a way to make a side income to pay those suckers off.  Another form of art that I love is writing and dance.  Dance is not something I am currently pursuing but I didn't see why I can't find time to continue writing. 

I love writing poetry and writing about topics I find interesting.  I hope that I can help others through my research in some way or another.  I like to be frugal and live as simple as possible.  Peace, love, and blessings!
